THE PREGNANCY RESOURCE CENTER in Lodi opened its doors in 1996. Since that time, over 1080 women facing an unplanned crisis pregnancy chose life for their babies. Some of those first babies are now young adults: College students. Military service people. Young parents with kids of their own. Many a grandparent is grateful for the services of Lodi's Pregnancy Resource Center.

THE NEED: PRC needs a new Ultrasound machine that also monitors the heartbeat of the baby. The cost is $13,000. How much do we personally believe in this project? The Statesman Team and I will MATCH the first $3,000 in donations, so the need is reduced to $10,000.  The deadline for funds is May 10, 2017.

This new Ultrasound machine will be a great tool to assist mothers-to-be in their literal life-or-death decision. Hearing the heartbeat of the child they carry is a powerful confirmation of the reality that this is a life and not a blob of tissue. Your contribution to this worthy endeavor will literally save lives.

Keller Williams Realty of Lodi, Stockton and Modesto has taken on Lodi Pregnancy Resource Center as this year's "Red Day" project on May 11.  KW Realtors will close their offices that day and help PRC with various projects including this Ultrasound machine fundraiser.
